I have done the upgrade from 1.9.9 to 2.0 candidate and now i cannot found a voice in the user menu. I need to set user account on ldap tipe but in my left menu, in administration/users i have only two voice: account and permission. I cannot see authentication. I have tried with a fresh installation but the problems remains.
Is there anyone can help me?

Sombody know if local user (user of moodle database insert by moodle interface user registration) can coexist with the user of an external database like ldap?
tks for the help

Hi,

In Moodle 2.0, authentication has been moved to Administration > Plugins > Authentication > Manage authentication.

You can certainly enable more than one authentication method e.g. email-based self-registration and LDAP.
