2.0 : no drag & drop for blocks?

I've just noticed that with Ajax enabled site-wide, it is possible to drag&drop course sections (topics) and individual resource & activities links but for moving blocks we still need to use the old "Move this block here" system. Any explanation why?

Because no one has implemented AJAX editing of blocks for Moodle 2.0 yet. I don't think it should be too hard to do, but someone has to do the work. Is there a tracker issue for this?
