After You log in,click on the course.in the course there is a administration block
Uploading the image
- In your Moodle course administration block click on Files.
- You may wish to create a folder where you store images. If so click on Make a folder, give it a name and click on Create. Then click on the folder you have created.
- Click on Upload a file. A file upload window will open which allows you to browse for the file.
- Select the image from your computer and click on Open.
- Click on Upload this file.
- You should see File uploaded successfully.
- In your Moodle course administration block click on Files.
- Find the image you wish to insert.
- Right click on the image and click on Copy link location (Firefox) or Copy shortcut (Internet Explorer).
- Open the quiz question you wish to edit.
- Click in the answer box where you want the image to appear.
- Right click in the answer box and select Paste.
- You should see something similar to this:
- In order for the link to work correctly, it is necessary to add some code before and after the link. Before add <img src=" and after add ">
- The full link should look like this, where mypicture=your image:
<img src="http://moodle.bath.ac.uk/moodle5/file.php/70/images/mypicture.jpg" alt="my-picture" />
- Save your quiz question.
Thanks for your comment and now i can upload image as text in the quiz but still i need more advanced method (i.e) here we can upload only one question at a time.so it takes alot of time and it is not a user friendly also.
can u suggest some other idea to work in more comfort zone. i have to upload bulk questions for conducting the quiz.
If this is indeed what you are looking for, the easiest way I have found so far is that I plan in advance the names of the files which I have already uploaded in one single zip file and unpacked into a folder in the course such as "piks".
then when I am creating the quiz, I insert the full link to the picture...
It is time consuming....
Hopefully someonee will have an easier method.
Another thing I've tried is putting the images in a form such as attached and using this image in the question- then you only need text in the four answer boxes- may save some time?
If anyone has an easier method I'd like to hear it....
There is one other method I have not really played with yet: using a Word template for the quiz such as the one located here:
http://www.soberit.hut.fi/sprg/resources/moodle/GiftConverter.html
I dont know how it handles images... maybe someone out there knows?
Good luck!
Sathish,
There is a "matching quiz" in the Moodle Exchange on this page: http://moodle.org/mod/glossary/view.php?id=2757 You might take a look at that and see if it will do what you want. You can also use HotPotatoes to make a quiz with images.

Hello, here is a tutorial about How to make online quizzes in Moodle, please try and have a look, http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Online-Quizzes-in-Moodle
A video tutorial about how to make a Quiz in Moodle:
BTW, Moodle already has a Quiz module allowing the instructors to design and set quizzes consisting of a large variety of Question types in the easiest way.
You also could use some other SCORM quiz tool to create quiz for your Moodle, such as Quiz Creator, you could easily add image and other multimedia file to your quiz.
Hope this would be use ful

What do mean by image quiz? Do you mean inserting images in quiz?
Or something else
you might like to check out this:
Question Type: Image target question type
The image target question asks students to identify a particular area of an image. The javascript version has a draggable bull's eye that the student drags onto the image. The non-javascript version has the student click on the image to submit a response.

Thanks, what you said was correct. but i have upload image quiz to conduct training program in my company.can u suggest some idea otherwise do u have any idea regarding this issue
hi,
what do you mean by image quiz? does the question has image
or answers or both ?
is it a multiple choice question or any other ?
Usha
the image quiz means the question itself is an image and answer may be text or image. And i have to upload the bulk question in single file in my moodle site.
the image question and answer is the way i said you can
handle. Create one question. Export it as text file.
If you create a text file in similar fashion you can bulk upload
by import.
I do not think any other bulk upload facility is there,
other than import file formats
Exactly right. i wrongly type as upload, sorry for this mistyped.
i have to import as file for image quiz.
i have following doubts with your comments.
1.How can place a image question in a text file? is it possible you thing.
2.If it possible, can you explain it in detail? Frankly speaking i need the step by step procedure.
3.where i have to create the question and how can i export the question?
please guide me i am new to the moodle. for the past one month only i start
working in moodle.
E.G. Q: This is a [image] Choose an Answer 1 2 3 4 If this is Yes the solution is relatively simple.

i have to import a file for image quiz.
can you mention which file type will support for this problem(image quiz)? for example
( to import a bulk image quiz question in a single file ) (for ex, we are using the gift file to conduct other test) like this i need one file which supports to conduct the image quiz test)
1.I need the step by step procedure.
2.Where i have to create the questions and how can i export the question?
please guide me i am new to the moodle framework. for the past one month only i start working in moodle.
what is image quiz?
the question is image type and answer is either in text or image type. file which
supports is single and different test in a single file.(short answer, match the following,etc...)
You only need a text editor for this. Please make sure it can save with UTF8 character encoding.
The format is Question, choices, answer as in the example.
What colour is the cat?
a) Black
b) Green
c) Pink
d) what was the question again
ANSWER: A
A new line separates the next question.
When completed Import the question file from your local drive.
You now have to edit the individual questions to insert the picture. Use the Insert Image in the editor and follow the instructions. Upload and insert as appropriate. You can adjust the image size I use 100 x 100 pix as a start. If you want to provide hints the use the Altext.
The docs for this can be viewed at http://docs.moodle.org/en/Aiken
