Thanks to Martin Dougiamas  for your kind helping hand in solving my problem of Javascripts in Site setting lost their functions after upgrading from 1.4beta to 1.4  .
I just came to discover your answer the other day. I didn't expect it, since no notification e-mail came to me.  That made me understand more about how to subscribe to different boards to get informed, not only just one board.
But when I subscribe to more boards,  my mailbox is likely to be flooded which lots of e-mails from various topics.
I like the not-digested notification e-mail, but it is rather too generous to give all the contents out by e-mail (the readers don't have to visit your site again !).
I am thinking of some kind of  simple notification e-mail, like phpBB2, which you can select to keep trace on some specific topic of your interest, not the whole topics. And that e-mail just gives you the link to come back to see the answer.
Do you have any plan to build some options for users to subscribe(just for specific topic), and for admin to choose for notification e-mail (just to give the link)?

I have subscribed to this installation problem board,   I think all other topics in this board will be sent to me. but it seems not like that. No mail comes.  Thank goD , but I still receive notification e-mail on various topics from the block board.
I will see wether I will get notification e-mail  from my own answer.  If so, it is perfect,  no need to change.
By the way , I have changed the smiley  pictures for you to be more dynamic and in-trend. http://www.bangkaew.com/elearning/pix/s/mixed.gif  http://www.bangkaew.com/elearning/pix/s/thoughtful.gifhttp://www.bangkaew.com/elearning/pix/s/blackeye.gif  To see more click, http://www.bangkaew.com/elearning/lib/editor/popups/dlg_ins_smile.php

I personally will boycott Moodle entirely if those awful moving smilies ever get included in the standard distribution. Just when you thought that awful trend of people putting animated gifs all over their webpages had finally died out, those abominable animated smilies start popping up all over the place. Look at those things! Look at how they clash with the rest of the site and its design. They are tacky and tasteless. I want people to read what is written in my forums, not to watch a cartoon! Sorry to be so opinionated about it, but this is just something I really really hate.

THE FIRST PERSON SAYING NO TO MOODLE

by Ger Tielemans -

That makes you the first "official" user saying no to Moodle.

I did not like these stupid things in the beginning, but sending messages to a multiculti forum, asks for additional information, like:

That makes you the first "official" user saying no to hot Moodle.
(Of the recors Niels Hansen, I was just joking)

or:

That makes you the first "official" user saying no to hot Moodle.
(joking, joking)

With an emoticon:

That makes you the first official wink user saying no to hot Moodle.

Animated icons yes or no? most of the time we have a discussion, ending in a draw: it becomes an option for the teacher, or following the Real Soc Constr Ambition (RSCA): the student can choose to switch it on or off.
