Internal Enrollment - Adding a new user: auto email (HELP!!)

I want to setup my site to where if I add a new user to the website through:

Site Administration>Users>Accounts>Add a new user

the new user email address will be sent a confirmation email with login steps, and verification of their email, username and password; and then force them to change that password when they login.

Does anyone know how to do this?

thanks,

Brett

The force email change would be easy enough, as you would check that when setting up the profile, but I would be very interested in an auto-generated confirmation email as well!

Does that force email change send anything besides a confirmation of new and old email accounts? Because users who have no idea what moodle is won't know to do anything to an email like that. I need to edit it and include some kind of welcome message as well. Any ideas?

Interesting. What about the language files? I suspect the words in the email are located in some php file there. Thus you can edit them in the site administration block, if you have permission in your role. Something generic would work: "You have been enrolled in FantasticMoodle.edu or have just changed your profile. We encourage you...."

I work with localhosts where I can play. On the 1.9.5 production sites, I am not allowed to play by uploading users, sigh. But that will chage this summper with one of our sites.

Best Chris
