Is it possible to modify the country list from the drop-down menu?

Hi there,
The message below is from one of our Foreign professor.

In fact, at the first time of registering on moodle.org, the same problem also confused me very much! Is it possible to remove "Province Of China"?

Further, I don't wanna have another political argument here with people who is from Mainland China! I just wanna have a clear instruction to modify this problem over our Moodle Site.

Seems like a fair request.

While I can't make the change for your professor here on moodle.org, I can help you make the change on your installation:

1.) Login to your site as an administrator.

2.) Navigate to Admin > Language > Language editing.

3.) Click the "Edit words or phrases link below the tab.

4.) Select countries.php from the dropdown menu of choices.

5.) Search for Taiwan.

6.) Edit the string.

7. Save.
