Block: Exabis ePortfolio Block

Exabis - ePortfolio
Type: Block
Requires: Moodle 1.8 or later
Status: Contributed
Maintainer(s): exabis - internet solutions

This block can easily be added to a Moodle installation and provides ePortfolio functionality for each student and teacher. Students can build up their ePortfolios collecting weblinks, files and notes within an individually defined system of categories, publish ePortfolio-entries to specific target-groups (the teacher or students within the moodle-installation or directly to internet users) get reflections and comments submitted by other persons as well as import uploaded assignments from within the moodle-installation. In addition the ePortfolio can be saved as a SCORM-package which is a standardized scheme and file format for the transportation of learning-based data and can be used cross-platform for further work.

I've tried to download your exabis ePortfolio Block but with no result.
The problem is that when I've tried to register creating a new account, the system could not send me the confirmation e-mail!
When I've tried to do the procedure again, the username I used was already existed and my e-mail address was already registered!!!
Please, inform me what should I do to solve this problem, so I could download exabis ePortfolio Block and tried it out!
Thank you in advance.

I reckon that your spam-filter has sorted out the Moodle-confirmation-message.
The registration and download worked without any problems for me.

Many greetings
Hartmut

login as guest is enabled so just hit the login button, then click on "als gast anmelden" and you should see the course with the current module ready for download.

Block looks good payaso
I've installed in moodle 1.9 and works fine as admin.
As a teacher I can add the block, but there are no options (My Portfolio, Shared portfolio) only the block title. As a student I don't see anything.

I've edited roles to "allow" teachers full access to the block. No luck.

Any ideas?

Jeff

Is there a way for teachers to see all student's uploads? We are using this in a K-12 system and are concerned about students uploading inappropriate things without the teacher's knowledge. Maybe I'm missing something? (Also, I'm not the one installing, just a teacher who noticed the problem). Thanks!

Hello,

After update the exhabis I can share nothing with anyone. When I click in SHARE simply the page is turning into white and it says done. The list with all possible "sharers" is missing but all the rest is working.

Any suggestion??

Thank you from CATalonia

Hello.

I tried to install exabis 3.2.1 with moodle 1.8.8 and moodle 1.9.4. Everything looked great, but then I found a problem. When I opened the 'Views' still everything looked OK, but then when I hit the button 'new Views' the page only turned white. So have you got any Ideas where the problem could be. And have you got an Idea how to solve it.
I tried it in mozilla, safari, IE and chrome, the problem was there in each one.
I hope you can help me.

Your sincerely,

Amadeus

Please correct style definition:

.block_eportfolio_italic {
text-style: italic;
}

Should be "font-style: italic;".

Best regards
Thomas

So far so good. The block uploaded and I can not wait to try it out. This is going to be an interesting assembly of tools if and when I can get them all connected in a proper manner ... Thank you very much for your contribution ... Jennie
