Here is a pic of Manage Blocks.

That's what is weird about this, essentially the calendar disappeared from the front page I imagine when I attempted to move it from the right column to the left quite some time ago. I checked Admin>Modules>blocks>Manage blocks and everything is on. (see pic below). On the front page I do have resource and activity drop downs under Admin Log-in in the center of the page but it seems to me there used to be a Block that also had activity and resource drop down menus. As for the calendar I cannot display it on the front page.I will also include a pic of the front page.

I am really stumped. I am missing the calendar item under activities on the front page of my installation. The calendar option is there for courses just not the front page. I am also missing resources. resources has been gone so long I cant remember if it was a block or under activities. I am using a Newbury them on 1.9.3+. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried it again and it seemed to have no effect. i must have had a character mistake in blocklib.php before

I tried editing blocklib and it caused the entire site to only display a white page. I will post a copy of my blocklib.php maybe I made a mistake in the code. any help would be appreciated!

P.S. The resources block and the calendar block are the only blocks missing from what I can tell.
