That is dangerous advice. That task does something importing. If it has not worked, you need to look at the task output to find out what is going wrong and fix it. Just deleting the tasks will leave the question bank in your site in a half-upgraded state.

Right, so various things are working, just not the maths rendering - so at least that confirms the scope of the problem.

And, uncaught TypeError: MathJax.typesetPromise is not a function is the error causing it, I would guess. I just don't know why. Sorry.

Have you checked out the STACK 'Healthcheck' page? That should help you verify everything that STACK needs is working, and if not, diagnose the problem.

Browser console is not the right place to look for errors. Turn on Debugging - set to Developer level temporarily, and see if you get an error when you try to look at the report.
