Moodle in English -> Themes -> Anomaly Update -> Re: Anomaly Update

de Patrick Malley -
Thanks for the feedback.

1.) This is a screenshot of my demo, which I'm sorry to say is running a previous version of Anomaly so might be a bit more buggy than the one currently available for download.

2.) The broken bubble is the result of the text strings I've entered into the dropdown menu being larger than the width of the sideblock. These sideblocks will not break like this in Moodle 2.0.

3.) The center alignment of the two blocks you highlight is default Moodle alignment and I see no reason to change that appearance.
1.) I think it's a bit early to tell whether Anomaly will be it or not. I have quite a bit of ground to cover.

2.) The majority of the themes I create will be simple and lightweight with 3-5 color variants for users to choose from.

3.) Agreed.

4.) I personally think that this should be Stripdown (albeit under a different name that implies "to begin" - I'll work on that).

5.) During my conference workshops this summer, I made the point that Stripdown could (and should) be used as a child theme for modifying other themes based on Standard. I think that good documentation on this would certainly be helpful and will add it to my task list.

6.) I'd like at least half of the 20 themes to take advantage of the new layout flexibility. I have one more standard layout theme to get out before I get to coding the first one.
Hello Ivan,

I think the primary reason you're not getting much help with your issue is because you've posted it in the Themes forum and the audience here is pretty specific to Moodle theme design. I'm going to go ahead and move your question into the Certificate module forum where I'm hopeful you'll get more of a response.
