With all due repect I don't think this is the proper / default behaviour of 'Save As'. Having just checked with Microsoft applications eg Word, and Adobe eg Photoshop in both programmes 'Save As' puts a file extension after the file name. Also with smaller software companies eg Top Style CSS editor, again extension is placed after name. I can't find any software on my computer where this isn't the case.

I agree with you from a usability standpoint that this function should behave like most other software students use on a daily basis.

Generally when people suggest 'fix the user' it is an indicator of software that isn't designed in a user-friendly way.

Yes  I agree, typography is very important in design and any CSS strategy that enables theme designers to achieve consistent cross-browser type display gets my vote.

Hi Ebenezer,

I am using 1.9.7 and the setting described above is present. Have just tested it in my installation and it all works.

The setting again is:

admin > courses> enrollments>

Set 'Send course welcome message' to 'No'

Would just like to add my support to what you said below:

_2 create human optimized CSS which can be easily understood and can work as an example how to write good and fast CSS.

I also write my CSS across multiple lines in a human centred way : )
