How about using a Feedback activity?

Is this in Moodle or Workplace? What is the theme? When you say you see "Edit settings, Move right etc etc" that is what you see when you have the editing turned on and you click the cog by the assignment on the course page. Click *into* the assignment and then click the menu there on the right (see my screenshot) That should give you more options including Advanced grading.

Hi Jackie - just to take a step back and see where you are looking. From an Assignment (are you using an Assignment?) you are saying that when you click the cog icon action menu  you do not see the link Advanced grading amongst the other options? What about if you go into the assignment settings as if creating a new assignment, and then from Grade >Grading method, you select Rubric and save. Do you see Advanced grading then?

Not a group submission, but an individual submission in a group which is managed by one teacher, as opposed to different group which is managed by another teacher. I don't much see the point of Visible groups for students, other than they can see which other groups (classes) are in the course with them.
