Do you find that the leadership or lack of leadership of the principal or headmaster at a school makes a big difference?
(In the schools in my district where the principal has lead the way, I have seen Moodle really take off. In the schools where the principal has not been interested in Moodle, it has taken much longer.)

Hi, Russ,
It does, indeed, sound like the workshop module is going to be useful for you. Because I have not used the workshop module much, I have no lessons to share, unfortunately. (Based upon the information in this thread, I plan to use it this fall, though.)
My colleague at Moodlerooms, Lesli Smith, has used the workshop mod at the high school level. I will ask her to chime in here.
Here's where the workshop gurus hang out -- http://moodle.org/mod/forum/view.php?id=740 . I know they will be happy to share with you.
Hope that is useful. Art

That sounds like a good way to go, Russ.
I guess that several of us feel that student storage is an important component of a good Moodle course.
Or am I wrong about that?

You are making perfect sense, Marcia.
I like using the online-text assignment module, but several of our teachers at Aiken HS swear by the journal mod.
As far as being overwhelmed goes, well, yeah, I completely understand that. But as long as one is aware of and is working toward the progression cited at the beginning of this discussion, it's okay to take a two or three or even four years to really "Moodlize" a school, isn't it? Or am I wrong about that?
