Well,it is almost Thanksgiving here in the US. It is a time of reflection and of gratitude.

I have much to be grateful for, and I know it. I know that I am among life's fortunate ones.

And somewhere quite high on my list of blessings are Moodle and the Moodle Community. It is a privilege and an honor to be a member of this special group of people and I sincerely wish ALL of you a happy, healthy, wonderful Thanksgiving.

I have always used a one-row, one-column table for that and made the image the background of the table. In the past, it has always worked. Not very fancy, but it might be worth a shot.

I have put in a feature request about password protecting all resources and activities. You can vote for it here - http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-7624

Maybe it will make it into 1.8.

I assume that you could do this with roles. You could also simply put the resources into a password protected directory and give the password to your students. Whoever is hosting your site could certainly tell you how to do this.

If you want to get tricky, you could, I suppose, hide the links to the resources in a password protected quiz.
