Some good points. I do think that part of the solution to this dilema is to post some case studies of Moodle in action - http://docs.moodle.org/en/Case_studies

Thanks for clearing that up for me, John. I was a wee bit confused. I really like the meta course solution, though. I will use it.

Hi, John,

Hmmm... I do have a meta course and German I and II are its children. When I add a resource to the meta course, it does not automatically show up in German I and German II. I can link to it, though, and it is accessible to members of German I and II.

Should the resources I create in the meta course automatically appear in its children? Or am I misunderstanding what you have said above (quite likely)?
