Like everybody else in the IT world, I was receiving the AI news, more as yet another innovation. Now Moodle is getting active, I was reading its development with more interest, yet not really absorbing. Only recently did it dawn on me that Moodle is not only "researching" on AI but already propagating a connection to a big commercial service. In clear text, the Moodle sites which use this connection will pay that service.
How could you be short-sighted! Haven't you heard of the looming global energy crisis due to AI server farms? That some of them considering even commissioning their own nuclear reactors? All collectively cooking our atmosphere? Doesn't news like this reach you?
