Doesn't GoDaddy offer a money-back VPS? I know other hosting providers who offer VPS (or other products) for 1 week free. At the end you buy or cancel. If you or any other soul could get such a VPS (it has to be GoDaddy for Rick), install Moodle 5.2 with composer and router, record the screen and publish, that would spare us every problem here on Moodle 5.2 develop in to Rick's 5.2 problem.

Responding to "nginx is somewhat preconfigured with PHP-FPM", you mean in shared hosting, those offer Nginx, most of them come configured with PHP-FPM? Possible.

 

Hopefully, they offer additional parameters to configure, since Moodle is selective. See Nginx.

Yes, but php-fpm and PHP FastCGI may behave differently, if they are configured differently.
