Does the 3.11 have the same issue? Did you upgrade 3.11 > 4.4 in one jump? That is not supported.

Yeah, in the whole 4.x series there were multiple changes in the quiz system. My preferred upgrade path is "always LTS", means 3.5 LTS > 3.9 LTS > 4.1 LTS. And 4.1 LTS is supported till December 2025. So, plenty of time to study the soon due 4.5 LTS and upgrade.

Hello Moodlers

I encounter more and more video productions by Moodle HQ and tend to recommend them in various occasions. The only problem, they are hosted on YouTube - with its notorious data privacy issues.

Therefore my question: Who wishes that Moodle HQ would post their video productions on a second platform?

I know, there is a massive collection on YouTube, re-posting them on another platform sounds like a boring affair. But they could limit the videos to certain "channels", like MoodleAcademy, introducing new features in Moodle versions, for example.

I am not going to propose an alternative. Somewhere along the line I came across https://odysee.com/ and check it first.

One caution, because the topic Google tends to cause irritations: If you are happy with YouTube or don't care, you are in the majority, therefore you don't have to give reason. The appeal goes to the reluctant YouTube visitors. wink

If the behaviour you describe, "available but hidden" activities expose their links in the calendar and the grade book, they are bugs. This special setup appears when an activity is withing a hidden section, it can be set to Show and Make available, they are two separate flags - at least in Moodle 4.1. I don't know whether formalizing this "undocumented" feature which was called Stealth activities for sometime, overcomplicated things.

Dumb question, what can't your teachers Hide those exams and not Make available?

"what I want sharing with you today is all things I have learned from other people" (1:33)

Is that the British understatement? smile

Talking of the message, the link provided needs an account in the MoodleAcademy. If there is a direct link, even to that notorious tube, some people will appreciate it.
