Bonsoir Nadia,

A quoi sert Book ? A présenter les contentus d'un cours (ou d'une partie de cours). Voici un exemple simple:

Mais on peut y mettre tout qu'on peut mettre dans une page web : audio, vidéo, etc.

Cheers,

Glenys

Hi Declan,

So glad you've solved the problem and found what seems to have caused it: the native Windows utility for compressing files. I've never used it myself - I use a different one from Gordon, 7-Zip, and that works just fine too.

Cheers,

Glenys

Hi Declan,

I've made Moodle Quizzes from Hot Potatoes JQuiz with no particular difficulty. Here's an example, Trivia Quiz,  with images in the question field, the answer field and in some of the feedback fields (Question 4 a, Question 7a). Some of the links to on-line images are broken - the quiz is old, but the links to local images are all there.

I used Gordon's first "workaround" - though I don't know why it's a workaround - seems straightforward to me. Some of the other Quiz setting are less obvious.  Here's a step-by-step tutorial File 15 Creer un test Moodle a partir de Hot Potatoes JQuiz.pdf - it's in French but there are a lot of screen shots. ("Quiz" is called "Test" in French.)

I've never needed to change the relative links to absolute ones.

I haven't tried the delayed feedback that you want to do but I don't see how it would affect the images.

Cheers,

Glenys

Moodle in English -> Hotpot (plugin) -> text toys and quizport -> Re: text toys and quizport

Hi Henny,

Nice to "see" you here. Yes, I do use TexToys a lot and I do use them in Moodle. I don't remember that there was a problem with the gradebook (in Moodle 1.9) with the Hot Potatoes Module version, but I haven't used it for a long time. In QuizPort there's certainly no problem.

Here are a couple of examples (why do I choose this subject I wonder? підморгую)

I don't call them WebSequitur and and WebRhubarb but that's what they are.

You can create an account on the platform and try them out if you like.

(Oh, I see the nice picture I was linking too is no longer on the Internet. This is a very old course.)

Cheers,

Glenys

Hi Derek and everyone,

I'm still just as keen on ForumNG as I was this time last year.

From September 2011 to August 2011 it worked just fine. Unfortunately, in autumn 2011 there were problems in the then current version of Moodle 1.9 (messages not being sent as email) on two different servers. I had to revert to the standard forum - Sam Marshall did try to help but it's normal that developers can't spend a lot of time on versions other that 2.x. I only mention it to show I'm not some besotted Sam Marshall groupie - if he were perfect he would find the time. підморгую But ForumNG just is so much better. Going back to the standard forum is like going back to driving a Mini after a year of driving a Porsche.

Just don't understand why, because all the work's already been done, it's not standard in Moodle 2. What's holding it up?

Cheers,
Glenys
