Bonjour,
J'ai créé un site pour une association à but pédagogique. Nous souhaitons maintenant y ajouter Moodle. Est-ce que je dois comprendre que même si nous prenons la version Wandoo Premium, Moodle ne va pas y tourner correctement ?

Voilà ce que Wandoo dit au sujet de ses fonctions PHP :

"Quelles sont les fonctions PHP que je ne pourrai pas utiliser dans mon site Premium ? Pour des raisons de sécurité et de charge d'exploitation, Wanadoo a décidé de supprimer l'accès à certaines fonctions PHP sur les hébergements Premium. En voici la liste :
checkdnsrr, chgrp, chmod, chown, diskfreespace, dl, exec, fsockopen, ftp_connect, get_current_user, gethostbyaddr, gethostbyname, gethostbynamel, getmxrr, getmypid, getmyuid, imap_mail, ini_alter, ini_restore, ini_set, leak, link, listen, mb_send_mail, mysql_list_dbs, openlog, passthru, pfsockopen, php_uname, popen, proc_open, putenv, realpath, rmdir, sem_acquire, sem_get, set_time_limit, shm_attach, shmop_open, socket_listen, syslog, system, tmpfile.
NB : les fonctions mysql_connect et mysql_pconnect ont été modifiées. Leurs 3 premiers paramètres, à savoir le nom (ou l'IP) du serveur, le login et le mot de passe ne sont pas obligatoires."

Merci de me répondre en termes simples - je suis débutante en PHP et MySQL.

It's normal, isn't it, that teachers of whatever language should start off with the same elements for beginners? That is, if we share some of the same criteria about effecient language learning.  And here on Moodle the chances are going to be pretty high.

First of all, many thanks for all the work you've already done integrating Hot Pot into Moodle.
I'm currently working on two courses I hope to run on Moodle which incorporate (or will incorporate) hundreds of Hot Pot exercises many of them linked together in modules so I'm very interested in the possiblility of adding HP exos in batches. You can  get an idea of what I'm trying to do here in this unfinished first module of a course intended to teach French speakers to read English http://cla.univ-fcomte.fr/english/reading_course/01module/index.htm
My colleague Yann and I work for a French university and there's just no way we're likely to get any money out of them for this kind of work though we're currently spending ????$ on Web-CT. Just too much red tape.
However, I also belong to an association which could be more accommodating.
What's the hourly rate for programming? Sorry if this information is already available somewhere. I'm brand new to Moodle.
