Complément d'info. Lorsque un blocage d'affichage se produit sur une page de mon installation Moodle local, le journal d'observation des événements de Windows me donne ce message d'erreur (que je résume) :
Nom de l’application défaillante httpd.exe, version : 2.4.10.0, horodatage : 0x53c79afa
Nom du module défaillant : php5ts.dll, version : 5.5.15.0, horodatage : 0x53d03624
Chemin d’accès de l’application défaillante : M:\server\apache\bin\httpd.exe
Chemin d’accès du module défaillant: M:\server\php\php5ts.dll
Le "coupable" semble être ce fichier php5ts.dll. Après une recherche sur le Web avec ce mot clé je ne suis pas plus avancé. En effet on trouve plein d'utilisateurs qui rapportent un crash plus ou moins sévère dans leur serveur Apache mettant en cause cette DLL, mais les suggestions de solutions sont multiples, et semblent peu efficaces !
Donc, on avance un peu, mais en faisant du sur-place.

Thanks Floyd, Ken and Guillermo for taking the time to answer my request. I will take a good look at all your suggestions.
There is one thing I should add first of all. I have done a fresh install of XAMPP and a moodle 2.7, keeping all default settings and the problem is still there. So the problem is apparently not related to cache, add-ons, extra settings in Moodle or Apache, database, browser, etc. Again, the whole installation is as fresh as fresh can be.
I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for the clarification, Richard. This Bootstrap2 vs Bootstrap3 issue is most confusing.
For instance, in standard Moodle 2.7 distribution we have the Clean and the More themes, which are based on the Bootstrapbase theme (itself a Bootstrap version 2 brand) while in add-on themes we have e.g. the Shoehorn theme which is based on Bas Brand's Bootstrap theme (a Bootstrap version 3 brand).
