This is an invitation to have a look at the most recent versions of my experimental versions of the Dialog Cards (and Drag & Drop) H5P activities at http://www.rezeau.org/drupal/

The Dialog Cards experimental version includes a number of new features which have been requested in the H5P forums. It now includes 3 modes :

Free browsing is the default mode. In Match mode the user will have to pair the front and the back sides of cards. In Self Correction mode, they will be able to guess the other side of the cards and confirm if they got it correct or not. The Match mode is a brand-new feature.

The Drag & Drop experimental version includes many new features too.

You are welcome to play with the many examples provided, and to use my libraries on your own Moodle test sites.

Please address any remarks, questions, bug reports to the email address provided on the home page of my Drupal test site at : http://www.rezeau.org/drupal/

Enjoy!

Hi Tom,

My REGEXP question type would be the perfect answer to your problem.

You could accept a number of variations for the correct answer(s) and also give meaningful feedback on errors.

For example, this simple (!) expression would yield 4 accepted correct answers:

Bob asked me (if|whether) I knew (his friend|) Gary\.

  • Bob asked me if I knew his friend Gary.
  • Bob asked me if I knew Gary.
  • Bob asked me whether I knew his friend Gary.
  • Bob asked me whether I knew Gary.

The plugin is here: Regular expression short answer

Hi Germán & Dominique,

I wish we would use the decimal point rather than the comma in French! I use it all the time.

Here's a link to an interesting map of the world showing the distribution of the decimal separators in use.
