Selecting several items from a dropdown list such as the categories list in the Moodle Glossary is done exactly the same as multi-selecting items in any dropdown list in Windows.
Click on the first item you want to select, then press control as you click on the second item for selection, etc.

Hi Adriane,

Thanks for all the mods and fixes. Your latest version (2007081200) now works OK and there only remain 2 improvements to be done as far as I'm concerned:

  • find a way to drag & drop longish text items which overflow to the next line of text in horizontal display mode (if at all possible)
  • propose absolute & relative grading options to the teacher

Thanks for all your work!

Joseph

Howard,

On the categories page, clicking on the category Name link enables you to edit its parent, name & info; this is the same as clicking on the edit icon to the right.

The number between brackets shows the number of questions existing in that category. Clicking on that number takes you to the category which those questions belong to, where you can edit the questions, create new questions, etc.

Clicking on this edit questions link does not necessarily take you to the Questions Bank page of the current course. If you have several Course categories or sub-categories in your moodle site, you will be able to edit/create questions in those shared questions categories.

Hope this is clear.

Joseph
