I forgot to answer one of your questions:

"do you have a plain version of Moodle 1.5 running on your server (without blog) - does this give the same errors?"

Yes it does, it's not your file only but the 1.5 version.

I started with a complete clean install in both cases below. I have two test setups and it works OK on one.

But on the site romeyn.ca, I also have 2 of my main Moodle installations with ver. 1.4. And they work OK.

Click on the links below and you can see what happens.

http://romeyn.org/moodle/
  ver 4.38 it works OK

http://romeyn.ca/moodle/ ver 4.39 it does not work

Some additional info:

If I go to ..../moodle/blog/..    everything works OK  but when I go to the Moodle root directory: http://romeyn.ca/moodle/     I get:

Page class mapping for id "course" exists but class "endsvejRef" is not defined

and later:

Page class mapping for id "course" exists but class "" is not defined

 Hi

I just installed  the complete Moodle from:http://learn.lincoln.ac.nz/moodle  on my test server . All data installs OK, but after all databases have been installed and the site info entered at the end I get:

Page class mapping for id "course" exists but class "¬" is not defined

Continue

Any sugetions?
