I changed it back to 500K,

I  logged in as a student an uploaded a 330K file with no problem. It must have been because of the upgrade and eventhough it showed 500K it was less?

Yes I did upgrade to a nighly about a week ago and that may be when the problem started but when I checked the allowable size it said 500K and the file the students tried to send were between 15 and 30K in size it it was for all the assignment in the course.

It only worked after I changed it to 2Mb.

The students encountered some problems with uploading assignments. The upload size was set for 500k and when some students tried to upload a document which was only 18K it said "

Sorry, but that file is too big (limit is 0 bytes)

But when I changed it to 2Mb the student could upload the small file.  Any sugestions?

Nothing has changed I finished adding an assignment and than wanted to add an other resource and this was the result.  I tried it again and on several course but to no avail. I restarted the browser but it still did not work.

 PS  I just went back to try it again and it worked, then a few minutes later it did not work but now it works again.  The problem seems to be intermittent.
