Moodle in English -> SCORM -> Adding SCORM hangs -> Re: Adding SCORM hangs

de Dr S Bhatia -
I have exactly the same problem

SCORMS that worked fine in 1.9 are now being uploaded into 2.0.2
But when i say save and return or save and display, there is a white blank page forever. The URL also appears incomplete and is stuck at .../moedit.php
NOTE: When i try to start the add scorm, it gives me a ZLIB warning

Warning: PHP Zlib compression has been enabled on this site, some users may experience issues loading SCORM objects in certain web browsers.

Now i tried chrome, safari and firefox. Same result in all browsers. I use MAC so cant test IE. Moreover i use shared hosting so i do not know if the hosting service provider can make some special changes in php config file only for me.

Any suggestions please...

Thanks Colin for the reply.

Yes we do have backups of a few courses whcih will need a lot of re-work.

Further, I also had created 2 courses just 1 day before this 'enthusiastic-cutlet' upgraded without telling me. So they are not the problem. Nor is our backup policy a problem. Backups are backups, they can't be shadow backups like we have on Mac Time machine because sites are on shared hosting.

But before i close this sad issue, i would definitely like to say that moodle 2.0 creators should have been a little more sensible than creating a version of moodle which locks out artifacts of the older version. I can understand office 2003 not opening .docx, but then MS also released plugins to convert the format, didn't they? Plain silly.
