No I did not know about the topsy turvy Los Angeles.

In fact I ignored to mention that my first encounter was with 'Castle' but the download clearly mentioned that its dvelopment has been stopped. So i did not try it.

One of the reasons I came late to moodle was coz I had initially gone to Moodle.com and seeing the list of partners, i thought that probably moodle is free itself but you need to have an alliance with its partners to get it installed. Since I had none in India, I abondoned it.

What is the server's time setting? second, hope there was nothing wrong in setting closing time of quiz...sometimes we set it at 10 pm but boy oh boy, it was meant to be set at 2200............possible human error

lastly, if you have not taken it twice but it says you have, there is something wrong. I don't know which part.

What I wanted to know was

'What is your criterion for completion of course?'

If they can re-attempt it like you said, go ahead with quiz but it won't give pass-fail.Just a grade. a report can be seen in 1.7 but it is yet to be released.
it can be re-attempted, too but it won't take you to any other resource at end.

Lesson will have 1 ques/page and an intervening page, too(1.7 does away with it) but navigation is very customisable, they may get grades and reports etc and re-directed to a resource.

Unless you specify that course completion criterion, I'll be unable to suggest a suitable course

Moving or moderation was not considered as punishment by me, for I was one of the few who favored this and was spanked amply for it.No regrets though.

Animal behaviour? you meant when I said each wolf howls at its will? It was a simile and I am surprised you correlated it with 'that' thread. It was not referring to that thread at all. It was a referencel to general social anarchy in the name of freedom.

I too feel that we all need to communicate more 'explicitly', though whether I would condescend to tell a fellow Moodler to 'learn to communicate better', I am not sure. .......anyway. It seems since you have a new role to play, you have started playing it immediately.....

...and no, I don't read too much into anything. God was kind while making my grey cells and consequently I have been endowed with just enough perspicacity to survive along nicely. Even otherwise, that post was not very enlightening and, lastly, this thread has nothing to with Art's thread. Moderation of it was appreciable and even desirable, as far as my view goes. I never favour unrestricted expression in this kindda forum which I feel are for special purposes. Of course, no one else needs to agree with me. This is my freedom of speech too.
