I'm obviously missing something here... How does the quiz/format stuff link into Moodle? I have the latest CVS on my server, but can't see anything in any of the Quiz screens, that looks to do with importing or exporting the quiz. I was exporting an "Import Quiz in Format xxxx Button"!!!

Also the functions in quiz/format seem to be to do with importing quizzes only. No mention is made of exporting quizzes.

Am I being stupid (again)?

Re: IMS QTI stub:

Is anybody currently working on this, or thinking about doing so. I have done quite a bit of work with this recently (in Java though), and wouldn't mind taking a stab at putting something together.

Don't want to duplicate effort though!

We have been talking here about the viability of adding tools to Moodle to import and export moodle course materials in some sort of XML format.

We kind of see some value in doing this for quizes, but are less sure about other resources.

I would like if possible, to get an idea what other people think about this. If I am going to do some development I would be keen to come up with something of general value.

Is anybody actually sharing (in some sense) materials at the moment, or would like to be doing so? Does anybody have any opions on stuff like the IMS specifications... or care to recommend any other import/export format?

Might be worth posting the result of executing phpinfo(); function.

If you don't know how to do that, create a file called test.php in the root directory of your moodle installation and with your favourite text editor, enter..

Then from your browser enter the address
http://your.domain/moodle/test.php

(or wherever moodle lives on your server).

Its possible your PHP configuration is wrong, and this would be a good place to start
