Thanks for confirmation Mary, and what a relief of not wildly guessing, I deserve to be holder of "Teaching with Moodle" certificate then - Will be taking this October as well again for a refresher.  Moodle is evolving so rapidly I tend to miss things quite often 🤔

You shouldn't be copying the course content, but create your own, that suits your target audience, of course at your place faculty wont be using this many features or would they be?
btw, where you intend to demo the moodle? college level or school level?

BUT, you can always log-in as teacher, go to course settings > backup and you'll get full course there to download and use restore in your own moodle to show to your prospected clients (likely you will confuse them).

It'll be better if you download windows installer package, and modify it.

no server setups, no internet required - Demo Ready as when you want it - will need slight modification that you ideally should do.

else demo site is always available, show your customers capabilities of moodle there.

Follow Open University (UK)'s model - they have similar user and course base

10 web servers and DB with Master-Slave replication on PostgreSQL

caches setups and optimizations of course
