That sounds plausible. It would mean there is a problem on shared hosting environments, since the effective session time would be the shortest time set for any of the sites on that machine.

I don't think it will make a difference being set in .htaccess (because that's how I was doing it for moodle.org).

I'll try using a custom session.save_path.

The session time on moodle.org is supposed to be set to three hours, but that isn't the case - it's more like 20 minutes. Still tracking that one down.

Yep, that's exactly right. First you delete the directory, then you delete this entry from the "modules" table. Same thing to uninstall any other module. A GUI is coming for this.

New stuff in CVS today means that themes can now contain substitute graphics for all the little icons , buttons etc. See "cordoroyblue" for an example.

Unlike language packs, this feature is all-or-nothing - it would be just too time-consuming to check each time that image files exist.

At the same time I made some improvements to the course main page (adding image sizes for the teacher controls etc) so it renders cleaner and more snappy now.
