Moodle in English -> Lesson Ideas needed for improving the lesson settings page -> Re: Ideas needed for improving the lesson settings page

Hi Helen,

              great addon wink

Is it possible to "save" the forms in an "collapsibleted" state ( some sections open some close as the user let it ) and with some default values stored. That way it should be possible to recall one of the saved forms for a particular usage: for the lesson a "simple" form could be use by novice lesson user without frighting them will all options.

If the same type of forms are used in the lesson question interface then the same principle could be applied to questions form to remember and to choose the degree of  complexity desired wink

The same should apply to all other modules that use form ( orthogonality )!

Thanks to Fred!

Hi Ali,

I will use probably that  http://webphysics.davidson.edu/applets/circuitbuilder/default.htm circuit simulator in  my project Socrate. I just see that it don't works on the Ipad ( i have tested it last year and it worked on my desktop ;-egg

With some javascript added, it is possible to let applets or applications like these interact with normal Moodle quiz. I am in the process of integrating a similar program to Moodle and initials results are probants wink But I am slow and the circuit simulator will not be treated before next fall!

I hope it may help,

Bernard

Moodle in English -> General developer forum Time for a new graph/chart library in Moodle? -> Re: Time for a new graph/chart library in Moodle?

Bonjour Joseph,

personally I have started to integrate RGraph with my Moodle work.

It is based on html5 and javascript, meaning that the client machine instead of the server do the processing for creating the charts. Another great debate to have wink

As you suggest it is Time for a new graph/chart library in Moodle server or client side!

Moodle in English -> Quiz and question banks A proposed new Gapfill question type -> Re: A proposed new Gapfill question type

Hi Lesli,

no problem to use your personnal questions, it will be a pleasure to do so.

The generator tool that Itamar created and linked on that thread use a very similar approach to create cloze questions. The manipulations are differents but the principle is the same.

It use input fields instead of files. It generate one of the four Socrate questions models.
