Also .. why are bookmarks limited to the http(s) protocols? I could see some use in being able to bookmark other protocols (in a computer science course, for example) like ssh, telnet ... or even local files (for people sharing an intranet).

Future feature : this could be a preference set in the activity.

I can't wait for someone to come up with some javascript bookmarklet, like we've got on del.icio.us!
