hi,
I am using Moodle 1.9+. I had hosted the same in Windows 2003 Server. I lost admin user privileges. I can access all the files through FTP. It will be greatfull if anyone can help me on this issue...(If I need to edit any file or directory pls mention the path and name of the same).
Make sure that you can log in as another users.
If so, and if you have direct access to the Moodle database (you will need to know the dateabase password), you can copy the known password entry (it is a md5 hash, not the password) of that other user into the password field entry of the admin user.
That will let you in as the admin and you can change the password back.

Hi,
I am able to login as admin, but lost the admin privileges. I can't see add/edit users, courses etc... such options(I can't see any of those options). I can see only the list of the courses. I had tried to edit the student's profile before 2 days. Could u pls help me on this?

Can please a Moodle admin move this discussion to the General Problems forum where it belongs?
Thanks in advance,
Joseph
