General plugins

In spite of myself, I have managed to install Moodle 1.8.4 on an old HP Brio running xubuntu. I first installed xampp and then found these directions that walked me through the rest of the setup:

Seems to have been made for Opensuse, but it works! Now, I'm a tech director at an elementary school. Part of our technology action plan is that students will complete webquests, with the end product being something that relates to grade level expectations (spreadsheet, database, powerpoint-type presentation). So, I'm wondering about the webquest module. Does anybody have it working on 1.8.4.

Also, off topic a bit. I have to get something going for faculty/staff professional development. Is there a module that is in this category? I'm thinking about: how to make webpages, spreadsheets, word processing, presentations, databases. I have some teachers here that are far behind the times. If they could complete an online course, in their own time, It would be fabulous!
