Hi everyone,

I've busy with metadatering in Moodle. I've studied the document and topic http://docs.moodle.org/en/Metadata:MoodleCore

I used the example of Vitor Gonçalves from the forum topic, but my question is not answered, may be I've missed something!!!!

Is metadatering possible in Moodle for all or some of the (activities and resources)??

I'm a beginner so may be I'm missing something here.

I toyed with the LOM and Dublin Core additions in the past but concluded that the binding was too loose..

One of the ideas I have now is to follow a simpler approach:

  • add metadata fields to the settings page of every resource/activity
  • find a way to query a course for the included metadata
  • find a way to harvest the metadata for the collection of resources/activities in a course.
