Installing flexpage course format

I am looking to start a Moodle site at www.educationfree.org and I would like to use the "flexpage course format" We have currently installed Moodle 1.8. I would greatly appreciate advice on how to accomplish it.

Have you tried seacrh for flexpage?  I have a feeling it might be a Moodlerooms thing.

I made a search and I found that it is stuck in the bug stage in order to fix a patch. It looks very good and I would really like to install it.
