In fact the flipbook (normal book module with flash or image pages) was working ok and still is, I just promised to create a more advanced open source version one day... http://korpelainen.net/m183/mod/flipbook/view.php?id=7 is just a visual part of one version of the activity and pages are added in editing mode.
