restoring 1.5.3 course to 1.8

restoring 1.5.3 course to 1.8

I am concluding a hosting agreement at the end of this month where five of my courses are being hosted on a Moodle 1.5.3 system. I am going to be taking over the hosting of the courses on my 1.8 Mac system. My web host has backed up the courses and sent me the following file/folders:
moodle.xml
course_files (folder)
moddata (folder)
user_files (folder)

How do I get those five courses running on my system? Can I restore a 1.5.3 course to 1.8? How do I do that?

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks

If those came in a zip then that's a Moodle Backup.

In the new site just select "Restore" from the admin menus, then upload that file to Moodle and click "restore" next to it.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm not seeing "Restore" in my admin menu. Here's a partial list of some of the options I do have available:
...
Users
   Authentication
    Accounts
      Browse list of users
      Add a new user
      Upload users
      User profile fields
    Permissions
      Define roles
      Assign global roles
      User policies
Courses
   Add/edit courses
   Enrolments
   Course request
   Backups
Location
   Location settings
   Update timezones
...
Front Page
   Front Page settings
   Front Page roles
   Front Page backup
   Front Page restore
   Site files
...

I am logged in with Administrator privileges. What am I missing?

Also, in which directory do I put the backup files that my web host sent me?

Thanks,
Mike

Please disregard my last post. I figured it out. The restore option is available once you're inside an existing course.

Thanks again,
