Was just listening to this podcast episode of the Seminars About Long-Term Thinking. Didn't know anything about Steven Johnson though I probably heard some mention of his videogame book.
Anybody read any of his work? It all seems very learning-friendly, especially for those of us working in "smooth sciences" (humanities and social sciences) with some connection to the "hard sciences."
Some of the videogame notions included in the podcast seminar are quite compatible with things we have been talking about right here on Social Forum.
