Hello, I have a simple question, I downloaded the last version of moodle for MAC OS X .
1) i coudn´t find any "blocks" subdirectory on Applications/MAMP/library, I only found Applications/MAMP/library/modules directory.
2)there is an blocks directory on
Applications/MAMP/htdocs/moodle18/blocks
so I copy there 2 blocks-directories: tradutor and countdown1_1
3)I stopped the MAMP servers, started those again, logged as an administrator, checked in Site Administration, Modules,blocks, but none of those 2 new block are displayed.
So, my question is: how can I install any block on MAC OS X?

You need to log in as admin then click on the top link in the site admin block 'notifications'. This checks for new blocks and installs them.
