Besides the moodle/pix folder, is it possible to specify some other pix folder in all themes, so that we dont have to upload all those icons again and again the various themes ?
Also, besides the nuvola iconset, does anyone know of any different icons for moodle ?
In moodle 1.8 it is possible to select from
Administration -> Miscellaneous -> Experimental

With this on, icons are served through a PHP script that searches the current theme, then all parent themes, then the Moodle /pix folder. This reduces the need to duplicate image files within themes, but has a slight performance cost.
It could be a good idea to start collecting alternative icon sets among themes.
