I have been running 1.5.4+ and recently backed up and restored to 1.5.4+ with the following error:
Restoring quiz without user attempts. Restoring of user attempts will be implemented in Moodle 1.5.1
After reading the forums and bug reports about this issue, it seems there is no easy solution, so my question is "What works?"
Specifically, would a class in 1.6.4+ backup and restore in an identical version of 1.6.4+ in another website host, for example? Or, would a class in 1.7.1+ backup and restore in an identical version of 1.7.1+ also in another website host?
I ask because I have just one class in an inexpensive website host, and I'd like the security of being able to restore completely (in another website host) if need be. Of course, backing up is important, but I am also looking for a complete restoration.
What works? 1.6.4+ to 1.6.4+ ?
What about 1.7.1+ to 1.7.1+ ?
