CMS integrations: problem: Couldn't create new menu

Hi,

I've installed 1.6.3 and followed very carefully the instructions for installing the cms_plugin. When I try to create a new menu I get the Error
"Couldn't create new menu!" and I'm beeing redirected directly to the main page

Any Idea that could help?

and the sollution of the problem:

before trying ti add a new menu, you should visit the CMS-admin site on
"your moodle site"/cms

Thanks. I just ran into this same problem. Instructions, unfortunately, mention only visiting the moodle/admin and not moodle/cms. Each apparently installs something in the database.

I also find the file installation instructions too unix-specific. Anyone following them as they are written under a GUI-based OS will experience loosing files.

phpmyadmin -> select moodle_base -> headermenu "SQL" -> choose in this window sql file (cms/cms/db/mysql.sql), in this file replase "prefix_" to "yourprefix_" . -> ok. In оur datebase great's 5 new tables. thet's all...
