> free attempts are no longer available
I'm sorry I don't understand what you mean by "free attempts"
> But one cannot see the attempts neither as teacher neither as student
That's strange, I just tested a JCross on my Moodle 1.5 site and I could see the results, both as student and as a teacher.
> Does this mean, that only 100%-correct-answers are registered?
Yes, if by "registered" you mean "sent back to Moodle and stored in the database". The wrong answers for JCross are not stored by HotPot v2.0, which is what Moodle 1.5 uses.
> Why isn't longer possible to get 70% or 82%
Well, the total score for the HotPot activity is stored correctly in Moodle 1.5. For example, I got a score of 80% in the test I did just now. That was correctly sent back to Moodle and saved in the database.
If you are getting unexpected results, please could you upload your quiz to my Moodle 1.5 testing area, so we can look at it together there.
