Thought it way overdue that I give an update on the status of the inaugural 'Sydney Moodle Conference'.
The event has been a sell-out! No real surprise there. Just proof that demand for all things Moodle is actively growing in Australia. In fact so far I have had to turn away about 20 ppl
The website (built in Moodle of course) has had some major updates. the biggest being the addition of blogs for attendees. It is hoped that these Blogs will allow attendees to share their experiences leading up to and during the event. This will allow them to network better with each other as well as provide feedback on the event itself. Of course I will be keeping my own for those who want to see how someone going slowly insane looks like in a blog
The other news is that I am installing the DimDim Moodle integration this week. If it works (and I hope it will) we will be able to stream audio and video of the conference through Moodle itself. Ill keep you updated on progress.
If you are attending the conference and have not yet registered on the website, will you please do so soon.
Thanks all.
P.S. I'm sorry I have dissapeared off the forums lately. You can guess why. Looking forwrd to being back in a couple of weeks
