We are three persons from Hamburg.
One is a specialist in design, another in education and
me in the technical part.
Our aim is to realize e-learning projects for companies
and educational facilities for an attractive price.
So one of our products is to customize the moodle
surface to the customers needs.
It's not so hard to make an own theme.
Ask a designer for header and footer banner and
colors he would use for tables and fonts.
To show potentional customers that moodle could be
heavy customized we also changed the index.php.
As Martin wrote we also sell our own translation for
the german language. For our customers it's important
to have a partner who can guarantee a complete and
if they need a customized translation.
Yes, long ago I wrote here but my english is not good
so I need much time to post.

For an easy start just try changing colors in the config.php to
learn how things are working and changing.
If you know how to work with HTML try to insert your logo
in the header.html (please make backups of your files because
dirty tables can destroy the whole site).
Now try the styles.php. There you can change not only colors but also
fonts, table behavior, borders, etc.

More compliments. These themes and customization look wonderful. I also like the site that Lemm did--very cute! At your above link with the three themes I had a question about Variante 3. In the middle part of moodle there are no boxes or squares on the ends of the middle sections (the topic or week parts). How did you get rid of them or make those hidden?
