unable to download csv course completion reports - moodlecloud upgrade issue ?

I havent looked at this site for a while, but I'm wondering if someone can help please ?

I have my own moodlecloud site and course. I dont seem to be able to any longer download reports of student course completion activities in csv format ? I last did it around May 2025, and am wondering if this is due to an upgrade at all ? 

I'm specifically referring to the activity completion report. I can no longer see this heading on my site ( see screenshot " activity completion report missing "?

I've attached a partial screenshot of the type of edited report I was previously able to create ( I've left out the student names and their email addresses),  to hopefully illustrate my issue

Hello there. Because you mention MoodleCloud I have moved your post to the dedicated MoodleCloud forum.. but just to check.. in order for you to see the course completion report in a course you need to have both activity completion and course completion enabled in that course. Can you confirm that is the case for this course?

Thank you.
I was previously able to do this, so assume that they were, before the upgrade, so I'm confused as to why it isnt working now ?

But for me to check that they are enabled, are you able to remind me ( eg moodle documentation resources page no. ? ) where I should be looking to check this please ?

  1. From your course, click Settings and then scroll down to Completion tracking and make sure Enable completion tracking is set to Yes.
  2. Make sure you have some activities with activity completion enabled within their settings
  3. If you also want course completion click the More link at the top of your course in the course navigation and then click Course completion and click the requirements for course completion.
This feature works fine on my MoodleCloud site so I suspect it is a setting in your course or your site.  Perhaps the MoodleCloud team will also reply to you.

Thanks Mary, I've realised I wasnt looking for these reports under the heading of reports ! I've found what I was looking for under course completion reports. Thanks for the pointers, served as a memory refresher for me !
