Hello there.  I was wondering, when I export entries from one of the secondary dictionaries sometimes I receive this message:

Could not export the entry to the main glossary

But it doesn't appear all the time.

Both of those dictionaries have the same settings.

PLEASE HELP

Thank you

Hi,

Does it happen ALL THE TIME with THE SAME entry? If so, could you please send me your glossary to take a closer look?

Regards,
Will

I was able to export everithing up to Clock doubling.  It happens all the time with the same entry.  If you wanted access to the class e-mail me.

Thank you for your help

I'm running into this now too. Did anyone find a reason for this problem?

Found the bug? (Was Re: Exporting problems from secondary dictionary)

par Wendi Dunlap,
Oh! I figured it out!

It's apostrophes that break it. If you use an apostrophe in your glossary entry, it can't be exported. Try it and see. Then delete the apostrophe, and it will work!

par Patrick Desloge,
I fear that this might be a stupid question, but isn't there a way to export a entire secondary glossary to the main glossary?  I have seen some screenshots showing tabs that allow the glossary to be exported, but I don't see that option in my version.  (If it is important, I am using a version installed from Fantastico in Netmondo.)

solved my own problem!

par Patrick Desloge,
I have just gone through the process of manually installing Moodle- It seems that the version installed by Fantastico did not have all of the glossary features that I saw described here. I am a happy camper now!
