How to fill or edit footerblock copywriter text and remove pencil icon?

I think the footerblock_copywriter_text is a bug in the theme. Site administration > General > Language: Language customisation > Open language pack for editing > Select theme degrade.php. But there is a footerblock_copywriter, footer_show_copywriter and footer_show_copywriter_desc but no footerblock_copywriter_text. You might want to contact its developer.

About the pencil icon: It is shown only to the site administrator.

I think there is an update for this theme, I saw latest update is 7 days ago. Let me try it first.

Maybe in the GitHub version. I run the one in the Moodle plugin directory, 7.0.1 2024072200, and it has this bug. And on the GitHub there are no open issues https://github.com/EduardoKrausME/moodle-theme_degrade/issues.

Thank you for your info. Actuall Mr. Eduardo Kraus has update theme on Moodle plugin directory while we were discussing this.

Now with versio 7.0.2 issue solved already.
