Allow quiz to be attempted offline

Allow quiz to be attempted offline

On my moodlecloud account, "Allow quiz to be attempted offline using the mobile app" sets itself to default "yes." That then blocks me from other options, such as sequential ordering and such. When I try to set it to "no" it sets itself back and continues to block me. I need my quiz questions to be sequential. What do I do?

Hello Sarra - just to clarify: You want your quiz to use sequential navigation, yes? You can do that but you can't have sequential navigation with offline attempts. So if you want your quiz to be attempted offline then you need free navigation. (If you click the i (help)icon next to the setting Allow quiz to be attempted offline using the mobile app, it tells you which features are available offline.)

(Just replying to myself for clarity here - I edited my previous post but only after it came via email. So basically: sequential navigation and **offline** attempts do not work together.

It is also worth noting that with offline attempts at a quiz cannot use interactive feedback behaviours, feedback will only be given when the students re-connect. This is because the correct answers are not stored in the browser.
